Artist Statement

“I create art rooted in my experience as a disabled south Asian woman navigating healing, healthcare and hope. By infusing traditional south Asian art techniques in the digital medium, I make works that challenge and explore the complexity of living in the margins. Through zines, digital illustrations, acrylic paintings and more, my intention is to encourage authenticity and courage.”
