In no order, I am motivated to write, create, & love by:

Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha, Mia Mingus, Stacey Park Milbern, & others living & ancestors who have written powerfully about disability justice
Lowercase letters & a love of the ampersand
Embarrassing old diary entries I can't stop revisiting
Productive anger in pursuit of love (still, mostly, against the medical-industrial complex)
Unions

Artist Bio

Courtney Felle (she/they) is a poet, essayist, activist, and friend living between Western NY and Washington, DC. Their previous writing can be found in SICK Magazine, Monstering Magazine, and Glass: A Journal of Poetry, among other publications.
