Artist Statement

My name is Hanna Sheehan. I am a New York based artist and archivist. I'm passionate about making the world more accessible. Creatively, I generally work in mixed media, multiples, photographic processes, book-forms, objects and sometimes time based media. My work explores intimacy, time, the body, memory and perception.

They have a tunic-like brown work shirt on, a septum piercing, and clear frame glasses with blue sides. They sit in front of an abstract background that they were photoshopped onto. The background is a closeup of blue glitter and is goopy looking and highly saturated. The primary color is a serene blue. |
