Artist Statement

I believe in artistic practices that deepen our curiosities about being human, are rooted in disability justice work, and involve providing and/or receiving care. My primary medium is movement, specifically everyday movement and what we may consider mundane and understanding how movement gets translated from our own experiences into performance. My practices include movement, somatic practices, disability justice, accessibility practices, and gaining knowledge from varied perspectives.
