Artist Statement

I am a Deaf artist with a few other disabilities. Since 2017, most of my conceptual work focuses heavily on accessibility and my experiences as a Deaf and disabled person. I gain inspiration from a lot of other disabled artists, for my concepts and exploration. A lot of my work involves bright saturated colors and even interactive elements. I have experience in photography, videography, design, 3D modeling, animation, and I use various mediums for whatever concept fits best. However, most of my work is digital in some way.

A photo of a flashing fire alarm. The lightning and angle of the photo give the image an abstracted look.

| Image Description: A digital photograph of a strange object against a white wall. The lighting in the room casts a blue and violet hue over the object. When looking closer you can see that the object is a flashing fire alarm for Deaf and Hard of Hearing people. The alarm is shown straight on, causing it to look a bit abstract. |
