Artist Statement

Vân Anh (they/them) is a Việt-American digital artist and designer. Their work explores queer identity performance and commodification using traditional garment making techniques and 3D/4D world-building tools. They practice creating digital worlds and futures which center the lives of queer and trans People of Color. Recently, they have been building altars to process a personal loss and explore themes of collective grief and memory.

Artist Bio

Vân Anh’s projects have been featured by IA&A at Hillyer and Qinfolk Festival. They hold a BFA from The New School and currently work as the Programs Associate for Community Tech NY. They live and work in Brooklyn, NY and have a very cute dog named Apollo.
